The DiSC styles

A DiSC assessment will tell you which of the four main DiSC styles best represents your personality. This is determined by your responses to questions about characteristics such as your preferred pace and how skeptical or accepting you are. Every person is a blend of all four DiSC styles and will instinctively adjust aspects of their personality in different situations. However, your DiSC style determines what gives you energy or depletes it and the behaviors that come most naturally to you.

Personal development

Understanding your natural tendencies—why you act and think the way you do—is incredibly powerful. With this knowledge, you’ll work more effectively toward your goals, grow in your career, and relate to others in more meaningful ways. Becoming the best you is an ongoing journey, but you’ll find rewards in every step.

Leadership & management

Companies often promote employees to management and leadership positions without ensuring they have the skills and support to succeed in this new role. Just because someone is an outstanding engineer, say, that doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily be an outstanding manager of engineers, or leader of an engineering company. Luckily, leadership and management skills can be taught and learned.

Team building

The most productive and happy teams—whether in-person, virtual, or hybrid—do not take their relationships or their culture for granted, but rather build them consciously. Team members grow their own skills and commit to the team. They trust each other, communicate well, and make sure their conflict is productive. Team leaders reward good team behaviors, and organizations consider teamwork skills when evaluating employees.
